Patrik Husi
Patrik is an undergraduate at CMMB University of Calgary with practical experience in medical settings. He works as Technician/Receptionist at First Choice Medical Centre, assisting with patient care and medical data. Previously, he interned at CNY Ophthalmology, enhancing his skills in patient communication. Additionally, Patrik supports research on neuroendocrine tumors and volunteers at Foothills Hospital and the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre, aiming to integrate clinical expertise, research, and community service in healthcare.

Grace Liu
Grace is a medical student at the University of Calgary with a background in biochemical and molecular science research. Grace completed her MSc in cellular molecular medicine at the University of Ottawa, researching arginine methylation in triple negative breast cancer. As a current medical student, she is involved in advocacy and fundraising efforts for cancer research, and is excited to join the CCTF team

Hari Ramanathan
Hari is a third-year BSc Honours Neuroscience student at the University of Calgary with a
strong passion for patient health and well-being, which inspired him to join the CCTF team.
Beyond healthcare, Hari is actively involved in climate activism through AGROW UCalgary and the
Calgary Tree Planting Team. In his free time, Hari enjoys cooking and playing soccer

Anabel H.
Anabel is an undergraduate student in Biochemistry, Honors at the University of Calgary, with a strong academic track record. A fast learner with technology skills, Anabel also holds a WHMIS certification and is fluent in French, having studied it from Grade 1 to Grade 11. With a background in customer service, Anabel thrives in collaborative environments.
In addition to academic excellence, Anabel has demonstrated leadership and community involvement through various extracurricular activities. She served as President of Peer Support, admin for Rundle Review, and teacher in the Language Club. Anabel also participated in The Ascent (Leader program) and Pom Squad (Rundle College Cheer Team), while contributing to community projects such as planting trees and engaging in the Queer Straight Alliance.

Daniel Pytyck
Daniel is a third year neuroscience student at the University of Calgary. Daniel is interested in learning the health care system, as well as advancing the present state of knowledge on new wave cancer treatments. Beyond this, he enjoys playing volleyball, maintaining a healthy social life, and tutoring.

Tvara Parikh
I’m Tvara, a first-year Honours Integrated Science student at McMaster University. I’m passionate about interdisciplinary learning, community engagement, and using science to make a positive difference. I enjoy working on initiatives that create meaningful impact and bring people together around important causes. Outside of academics, I love swimming, staying active, and finding creative ways to grow both personally and professionally.

Brendan J. Agolli
Brendan is a second-year student at the University of Calgary, studying international relations. He is passionate about understanding health system and their effects on communities and society. Eager to contribute, Brendan aims to explore international policies and best practices to foster new parnterships beyond Canadian borders. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, basketball, as well as traveling to new places.
