VISION
CCTF envisions a future where theranostics transforms cancer diagnosis and treatment, with a strong initial focus on neuroendocrine tumors and prostate cancer, while exploring novel and orphan innovative PRRT applications for other various cancers and non-cancer conditions, including cardio-vascular and neurodegenerative diseases. We aspire to be a leading organization in advancing precision oncology, expanding access to research PRRT applications, enhancing patient outcomes, and improving quality of life through strategic partnerships and groundbreaking research.
MISSION
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
CCTF is dedicated to raising awareness of the critical role that precision oncology such as theranostics plays in cancer and beyond. Our mission encompasses the following key areas:
• Raising Awareness of Neuroendocrine Tumors: We are committed to increasing awareness of neuroendocrine tumors among patients, healthcare providers, and the public. By highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and treatment, we aim to improve outcomes for those affected by these conditions
• Improving Access to Treatment: We advocate for patient access to essential drugs and therapies not covered by provincial funding. Our goal is to ensure that all patients, especially those with neuroendocrine tumors, have access to cutting-edge treatments that can improve their prognosis.
• Expanding Applications: While our initial focus is on neuroendocrine tumors, we are committed to exploring novel RLT applications in other cancer types and non-cancer medical conditions, including neurodegenerative disorders and cardiovascular conditions
• Enhancing Education and Training: We strive to provide comprehensive educational programs for patients and healthcare professionals. By promoting best practices and innovative approaches, we empower practitioners to improve patient care.
• Promoting Research and Trials: We aim to establish a robust foundation to attract new RLT clinical trials. By facilitating innovative research and leveraging advancements in molecular imaging and targeted therapies, we drive discovery and improve therapeutic options
• Fostering Strategic Partnerships: We actively build and strengthen relationships with cancer centers, academic institutions, and healthcare organizations to advance clinical trials and research. These collaborations promote knowledge exchange and accelerate the integration of scientific discoveries into clinical care.
