Dr. Harshad Kulkarni
Dr. Harshad Kulkarni is an internationally recognized expert in Nuclear Medicine and Radiomolecular Theranostics, with over a decade of groundbreaking contributions to the field. Currently serving as Chief Medical Advisor at BAMF Health, he has been instrumental in developing one of the world’s most advanced, vertically integrated theranostic programs, encompassing state-of-the-art radiopharmacy, molecular imaging, and targeted radionuclide therapies.
Dr. Kulkarni has spearheaded numerous clinical trials and research initiatives, driving innovation in precision oncology and expanding access to advanced theranostic treatments globally. With a deep commitment to advancing the field, he actively collaborates with leading institutions to pioneer new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for challenging diseases such as metastatic prostate cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, thyroid cancer and rare cancers.

Dr. Alda Aleksi
Dr. Aleksi brings more than 20 years of advanced postgraduate medical training and extensive clinical experience to her role as a Medical Oncologist at the Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Calgary. She specializes in the care of patients with neuroendocrine and endocrine tumors, head and neck cancers, and theranostic-based therapies.
Her research focuses on the development of clinical databases, the therapeutic use of peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) in clinical trials, grant development, and academic publications centered on neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). She actively contributes to several national advisory boards and clinical guideline committees.
As a clinical lecturer and dedicated researcher, Dr. Aleksi is a passionate advocate for theranostic innovation in oncology and beyond. She regularly presents on precision oncology at national and international conferences, reflecting her deep commitment to advancing patient care and driving medical innovation.

Jackie Herman
Jackie Herman currently holds the position of President of CNETS Canada and became an active volunteer in the charitable sector, as a result of her own diagnosis of neuroendocrine tumor in 2008. Jackie joined the CNETS Canada Board of Directors in early 2011 and the Executive Committee in early 2012.
She began volunteering with the Canadian Neuroendocrine Tumour Society (CNETS) in 2010. Jackie assumed the role of volunteer President of CNETS in 2012 and is honoured to represent the Canadian neuroendocrine cancer community. Jackie has a particular interest in patient advocacy, at both a broad policy level and a very grass roots individual patient level, continually striving to achieve better access and outcomes for neuroendocrine cancer patients in Canada. Engagement with the Canadian and global neuroendocrine community has been a silver lining throughout Jackie’s challenging journey with neuroendocrine cancer.

Dr. Kirstie Lithgow
Dr. Lithgow is an endocrinologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. She completed her medical school, internal medicine and endocrinology training in Calgary and following this, went on to pursue additional fellowship training in pituitary disease and neuroendocrine tumours in Birmingham, UK. Her clinical and research interests include pituitary tumours, neuroendocrine tumours, and improving care for patients impacted by endocrine cancer. She has over 20 peer reviewed publications and holds grant funding from the Canadian Neuroendocrine Tumour Society

Dr. Caitlin Yeo
Dr. Yeo is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Departments of Surgery and Oncology at the University of Calgary. Dr. Yeo completed medical school and general surgery residency at Queen’s University, Kingston, before joining the University of Calgary for dual fellowships in Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery. She also holds a Masters in Medical Education through the University of Dundee, UK. Her clinical practice includes thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and GI neuroendocrine pathologies. Her research interests span the domains of endocrine surgery, surgical oncology, and surgical education. She is the co-chair of the Alberta Thyroid Oncology Group, General Surgery and Surgical Oncology Competency Committee Lead, FMC MSA President, and FMC General Surgery M&M Rounds Director.

Dr. Sasha Lupichuk
Dr. Lupichuk is a medical oncologist specializing in treating patients with breast and gastrointestinal cancers at the Arthur Child Cancer Centre with affiliation to the University of Calgary as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Cumming School of Medicine. In relation to her breast oncology focus, Dr. Lupichuk pursued fellowship training in breast cancer risk assessment, screening and prevention at the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, ON. She subsequently founded and became the medical director of the Calgary High Risk Breast Cancer Clinic. She is a past leader of both the Southern Alberta and the Provincial Breast Tumour Teams. In addition to advancing care at the individual level, Dr. Lupichuk participates in teaching and mentoring trainees, developing provincial clinical practice guidelines, and research. She achieved a post residency Master of Science in Health Research Methodology and has a keen interest in studying the real-world impact of breast cancer care pathways and new therapies in Alberta. She has extensive experience with scientific review of research at the grant, ethics and manuscript stages.
